The Purpose Inc. poker tournament has become a Pubcon tradition – and we think it’s the best social event in the world of internet marketing. Whether you play poker or not, this event is a fantastic opportunity to meet and connect with the brightest minds in the internet marketing community. It’s a can’t miss event, even if you don’t attend the actual conference.

This is second year in a row that EasyTweets has sponsored the Purpose Inc. Pubcon Poker tournament. Dr. David Klein is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet, and we love the Purpose Inc. crew and everything they do. We are glad to support them whenever we can.

If you’re in Las Vegas next week, be sure to register to attend the Purpose Inc. events.

Check out the full photo gallery from last year’s poker tournament.

Alex B. from EasyTweets will be in Las Vegas all week, and will be speaking on a panel on Tuesday. Alex will have plenty of EasyTweets t-shirts and refrigerator magnets to give away, so be sure to say hi if you see him!

While we may not have agreed with every political decision that has been made over the past decade, as military veterans ourselves we have a great appreciation for the sacrifices made by our troops.

We know what it is like to put your life on hold, leave your friends and family, and deploy overseas for months at a time. It is incredibly overwhelming, very challenging, and requires incredible strength and resilience.

What we can’t fathom is what life would be like if our loved ones went away for deployment to support our country and were killed, paralyzed, or seriously injured in the line of duty. Thousands of Marines, soldiers and sailors have lost their lives in the line of duty. And their husbands, wives, and children need help.

For the 2009 holiday season, the EasyTweets team has decided to support the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund provides financial support for the dependents of United States military personnel lost in performance of their duty. They have been helping military families for many years.

In 2007, they opened the Center for the Intrepid, which helps military personnel who have been catastrophically disabled in the line of duty. In mid-2010, they will be opening the National Intrepid Center of Excellence, which will be dedicated to the treatment of Traumatic Brain Injury.
